1. Agreement and parent responsibility

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Codeplug Technologies. Seekaroo is designed for children ages 4–8, but a parent or legal guardian must download the app, approve purchases and manage settings. By downloading, using or purchasing through Seekaroo, the adult user agrees to these terms and the Apple Standard EULA.

2. The Seekaroo service

Seekaroo provides camera-powered object-finding quests, spoken vocabulary prompts, learning cards, progress tracking and rewards. Object recognition is probabilistic and may occasionally identify an object incorrectly or fail to identify it. An adult should supervise camera use and ensure the child explores a safe environment.

Seekaroo is an educational activity, not a substitute for professional education, childcare, medical advice or adult supervision.

3. License and ownership

Your right to use Seekaroo is a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license governed by the Apple Standard EULA. Seekaroo’s original software, artwork, text, mascot, branding and other content are owned by Codeplug Technologies or used with permission. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, redistribute or commercially exploit the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

4. Subscriptions, trials and billing

• Seekaroo may offer weekly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock additional worlds and missions.
• The App Store displays the current price, billing period and any trial eligibility before purchase.
• An eligible yearly subscription may include a three-day free trial. Eligibility is determined by Apple and may vary by account or region.
• Payment is charged to the Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed. A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account settings. Deleting Seekaroo does not cancel a subscription.
• Apple handles billing, refunds and purchase disputes under its applicable terms and policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Seekaroo, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, circumvent purchase controls, use the app unlawfully, or use its content in a way that infringes another person’s rights. Do not point the device camera at dangerous locations or use the app while walking near traffic, stairs, water or other hazards.

6. Privacy

Seekaroo is designed without child accounts, advertising or tracking. Camera recognition runs on the device, and camera images are not saved or uploaded. Our practices are described in the Seekaroo Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and changes

We may improve, update, suspend or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or product development. We do not guarantee that every quest, voice, language or recognition result will be available on every device or in every region. Purchased subscription access will be handled consistently with Apple’s rules and mandatory consumer law.

8. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seekaroo is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or perfect object recognition. Codeplug Technologies is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app where such exclusions are legally permitted. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Ending use

You may stop using Seekaroo at any time. We may restrict access if the app is materially misused or if required by law. Subscription cancellation is managed separately through Apple Account settings.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect product or legal changes. The effective date will be revised. Continued use after an update means the adult user accepts the revised terms, subject to any notice or consent required by law.
